The big money saving idea behind A GROWING CITY is to shoot it live-action and then insert all the objects to create the sci-fi world in post production. Then, convert all that into an animation.
The problem is that I’d really rather keep it live-action. It would be a lot more work and a lot more time, but I think the story would be better.
I’m now faced with two questions: 1) Will it cost more and if so how much more? 2) Can I sell my producers on working a lot harder for a lot longer?
