We did a couple videos for Eibach Springs USA. On this first clip we most of the filming.
On the second, we only shot about 10%. But, we did do all the edits, so we’ve got that going for us.
The Dot
Matthew Palmer owns a pretty amazing web design company. He and Jonathan had both worked on a project together, Schiefer Media‘s new website. Matthew liked the video and asked Jonathan to make a video for another website he was designing for THE DOT fulfillment and distribution. With some art direction from Matthew, this is what we came up with.
Kabuki
There was an idea for a TV show. It was kind of like a Live-Action Role-Playing Game (larp, for short) using foam weapons. It was going to be called the Foam Weapons League.
Xander Jeanneret, one of the actors with whom I work, wanted to be in it. So, to promote his character, he asked my help in creating a couple promo videos. The Foam Weapons League didn’t pan out, but we’re pretty happy with the videos:
SCHIEFER MEDIA: PHILOSOPHY
Schiefer Media asked us to make a video. Descriptives: smart, sophisticated, relaxed, modern precise, intentional, approachable, comfortable, attractive, cohesive (as a team), experienced, focused.
This is what we came up with.
Anecdote: The day after we delivered the video, Apple used the same music in their promotion of the iPad 2. We all thought it was funny… and a sign of our mutual good taste.
